It could be the faster flow teats. If the milk comes out too fast for him then he will be taking in a lot of air as well as he tries to gulp it down. Maybe try switching back to the slow flows for a while and see if it helps him.
True colic usually occurs in babies between birth and 4 months, often first appearing at around 3 weeks. Opinion is divided on what the actual cause is, but its thought to be transient lactase deficiency. Lactase is the enzyme that breaks down lactose in food (the natural sugar that occurs in milk). If your child is deficient in it then it can cause a lot of digestive discomfort. If it really is true colic and not just crying, then I would recommend you try Colief. Its expensive but it genuinely does work, and is the ONLY thing that does in my experience of two colicky babies.
All babies cry, and some cry a lot. Colic is typically characterised by prolonged periods of inconsolable crying and / or screaming, often occurring in the early evening and often accompanied by drawing up the legs and passing wind. If the crying lasts for several hours several times a week (or every day as it was with my first baby) then the chances are that it really is colic and Colief is worth a try. If not, or if it doesn't help. then speak to your health visitor.
EDIT: Infacol does precisely nothing for colic, in my experience, so save your money! It helps babies who have a lot of wind, but trust me colic is NOT the same thing as wind.

to avoid too much air going in with the milk try playtex drop ins to push air out before giving to baby. I agree to go back to medium flow nipples and see if it helps.

I use Chamomile tea for my children. Also there are gas drops you can get that work well also, Mylicon.
