Maybe she cries because her parent can't even spell the word "cries."
Sorry that was rude, but I can't stand how everyone on the baby section of Y/A is illiterate and gramatically challenged.
But yeah, that's just a normal thing for a newborn baby. There is nothing wrong with her, other than likely stomach pains. Just cuddle her and walk her around the house, showing her new things and not keeping her in one spot for too long.

She very well maybe colic. Since you've switched formulas has she been really gassy? Are her stools different? Could she be allergic? I would talk to your doctor if she's doing nothing but crying. Her stomach is either not accepting the formula or she's collicy. Good luck!

Some babies just cry alot... it could be a number of things with a 3 week old. She could be having gas.... Usually, colic won't start until around 4-6 weeks of age but it's certainly not impossible that your baby has developed it a little earlier. I don't think anything is 'wrong' with her... she just sounds like a normal newborn baby.

I learned that you need to try one things for awhile. You instict is to rock her for a minute and then if that doesnt work try a new position, then try something else. etc. Try just holding her close and rocking her for 5 to 10 mins. Give one things some time to work. Try to swaddle her and hold her close and offer her a pacifier. Always bouncing her a little in your arms may work.

baby is too young for colic... It might be gas. Little babies get gas easiily. Get a hot water bottle, cover it so it is not too hot and lay her on her tummy. Make sure you are with her the whole time since she is on her tummy. You may want to invest in some infant gas drops

There is a couple things you can do...
Try the parents choice premium formula... My 1 month old daughter was using enfamil premium and it was upsetting her stomache and making her tense up and cry, I think it was too rich for her, so we switched and the walmart brand is great, she loves it...
Use Mylicon Gas drops, they help out alot, and will relieve any gas... Try rubbing her tummy in a circular motion from inwards out, and bicycle her legs a little bit, this will also help...
Contact your pediatrician as well, to let them know what is going on and see what they suggest...
Good luck and congrats~!!!

My first daughter was just like this. We changed her formula like a million times before we settled on soy formula. The soy formula helped a lot. We burped her more, even when not feeding. When she had gas somethings we would try are: car ride, warm bath, hot pack, bouncing on knee, rubbing her belly and back, gas drops, colic water (life saver for us), or just cuddling. We just kept trying and trying. Sometimes she would want to be in her swing, or just walk around. Just try not to over feed her, this makes it so much worse. Sometimes, if your doc says ok, we gave her a little warm water, it would break up the gas and make it easier to pass.

it might be colic but it might also be the formula she is taking. Do you notice if she has any poo issues? If the formula has a lot of iron in it that could be an issue. Only the pediatrician would know for sure though, but if thats the case you may try soy formula, its more sensitive to babies tummy.

At three weeks our babe had the same issue, he was having really bad gas and couldnt pass it. we got Mylicon drops and that helped a lot. After a few weeks his digestive system got on track and now we dont need them
