My baby hates sleeping flat on her back so it's impossible to put her in her crib or bassinet. She is only 1 month old and I don't want to risk her dying of SIDS or anything so when could I start letting her sleep on her tummy.

As soon as she falls asleep and I lay her in her crib she instantly wakes up crying. The only thing she will sleep in is her car seat and that is because she is elevated. I answered another question earlier today about co-sleeping. A lot of people said that co-sleeping increases the risk of SIDS because mom or dad can roll over on the infant or baby can get stuck up against a pillow. Now my understanding of SIDS is that there is no cause of death. The infant just passes away with no cause. Am I wrong here?
An infant who rolls over onto a pillow dies from suffocation, correct? If a mom rolls over onto the baby, the baby dies from suffocation, correct? There is a clear cause of death. So if my understanding of SIDS is correct, then co-sleeping doesn't increase the risk of SIDS, instead it's a suffocation hazard.
Am I correct here?
