I have a 6 month old son.His night time routine is to have a small 4th meal at 7.30, bath at 8 then bed at 8.30. He doesn't have a bottle wen he goes to bed because it is to soon after his supper (i was advised by a health visitor to give him this 4th meal instead of a bottle because he is a very hungry baby and was thought this would help him go through the night) However at half 10 I do give my son a bottle while he is asleep. Sometimes he sort of wakes up for it but when he drinks it he is asleep. Is it ok to do this? He does wake up frequently most nights but i have been told not to feed him. Should I give him hungrier baby formula at 10 or maybe change his routine so i am not sleep feeding him? He does drink all of this bottle.
I have food stamps, WIC fo baby formula, and have medicaid for myself and baby.
Is that deducted from the 20% (Texas percentage) child support im supposed to get from my ex?
I was keeping my neice today and ran out of formula. So my husband on his lunch break went down to the store to get some. She is on the soy based formula by Goodstart. He went over to wal mart. They don't keep anything in stock They had plenty of Goodstart (regular) but not the soy. He went ahead and picked up a thing of the parents choice soy. It was cheaper than the Enfamil and the Similac and you get a little bit more. He explained and said It seemed comparable
Has anyone tried this? Was this a good choice?
My baby is 7 weeks old tomorrow. He's on Gerber Good Start Gental Plus Formula right now, he was on Enfamil. Well, I'm out of the Gerber and all I have is Enfamil and cannot go get more Gerber untill tomorrow. Would it be ok to give him Emfamil just for tonight then switch back to Gerber tomorrow?
I switched him because the good start is a little cheaper, lol =]
My parents have just booked an all inclusive trip to Mexico as a family vacation in November. My parents go quite regularly – so this is apparently a 4 ½ - 5 star resort.
There will be them, my brother, sister in law, 5 y.o. niece, myself, my husband, our 4 y.o., and our baby - who will be 7 1/2 months at that time.
I know what I’m going to need - but I'm wondering what I should take and what I can get while I'm there.
I'm already planning to take a car seat, 2 cans of powdered baby formula (because I know they don't sell her brand outside of Canada), and enough jarred baby food for the airplane and the next morning.
From what I understand there is a WalMart in Mazatlan and we plan on going there as soon after we get there as possible (probably the next morning).
Should I bring enough jarred baby food for the entire trip? Or just enough to get there and get to a store? What brands are available?
Should I bring 2 packages of diapers? Or do they sell Pampers at the WalMart there?
We’re planning to buy an inexpensive umbrella stroller there and just give it away before we leave if we can’t take it on the plane on the way home.
I’d really like to take our playpen – but our travel agent has ordered a crib for our room already.
Sorry if I sound completely ignorant – but I’ve never been to Mexico before let alone with an infant. I can’t find it spelled out anywhere either.
Is there anything specific I should be sure to take for my 4 y.o. as well?
