Baby Baths

Have you too encountered a teenager's room from Hell?

Peter's Teenage Attic Room Cautiously, I enter my dear son’s room. I am assailed by a pungent smell, Of fetid socks; jocks from the depths of Hell. My eyes become accustomed to the gloom. Dead fruit, scraps of tattered destroyed peels, Foul green mould conquers my lost cups and mugs, It’s a room invaded by bugs and slugs. I can taste the decay of old meals. There is an ominous, faint, whirling sound; Electric devices activated. I see blinking lights, I’m captivated. I am a prisoner; trapped and bound. Not a mother in her own tidy home, I’m lost behind hostile enemy lines. My now tender heart, remembers and pines For baby bath time; splashing and clean foam! Gack, gack indeed! I pulled the answer as it was just a first draft.

Question for organic Mommies?

To the Mom's out there that are taking part of green living, and living organically which baby bath products to you prefer for your little ones?

Are brands like Aveeno and burt's bee's really that good for you as they claim?

My family and I are trying to be healthier, and living in a small community makes purchasing green and healthy products hard. I read where brands like aveeno and burts bees are supposed to be all natural and good for you. Both produce baby bath products as well. Are these companies really that good for you, or is it just a marketing ploy?

Help! With a VERY Jealous 3 year old.?

My 3 year old used to be a pretty good kid besides an occasional time out here or there. But since I had my son 3 weeks ago he has started throwing fits at every little thing. And I am constantly having to put him in time out. The only thing I can contribute this all too is the birth of his brother. He is a big time mommy's boy and as I am breastfeeding my newborn I have to be holding him a lot of the time and he is used to having mommy all to himself. Each day I try to set aside some time that I just spend with my 3 year old. I call it mommy and Jaden's time. I also try to include him on doing things with the baby. Like I will let him snap the buttons on Tristains(my new born) outfits, let him help with the diaper changing, and even give them baths together (Tristain is in his baby bath and I never leave them alone; Just thought I'd add that.) When will he get over his jealousy? Is there anything else I can do with him to help him? Please parents tell me there is an end in sight... I hate having to constantly get on to him but I can't let him think that its okay to throw all these fits the way he is.
